This article is about the healthy eating plate. This plate is basically a guideline to healthy eating. This plate consists of things you should eat to have a healthy lifestyle. I hope you guys like it :-)
Vegetables & fruits:
You need two pieces of fruit (200g) 4 tablespoons of vegetables (200g). The greater the variety, the better.
Whole grains:
This includes crackers, salads with vegetables, soup, breads, cereals, potatoes, legumes, and cereal products like rice and pasta.. A variation between the products is also very good!
Dairy products, meat and fish:
What you need:
- 1 slice of cheese (20 g)
- 600 ml milk (products)
- 100-125 g meat (products
- an egg, fish and chicken
Again, a variation between these foods is a good plan. If you're going to eat dairy products make sure you go for the low fate alternative, because this has less saturated fat.
Margarine and oils:
This is basically everything you use for your bread(like margarine) and preparing meals. Again, choose the products with the least saturated fat.
Water:
You need 1 to 1,5 liters of water a day. If you want you can replace water with tea(without sugar) and coffee(without sugar and milk), but obviously the best is to drink water.
